Our Cosmetic Dentistry Clinic

Cosmetic Dentistry refers to dental treatments that improve the appearance of a patient’s teeth, smile, gum or bite. There are numerous treatments which can enhance appearance but not all treatments are best suited to all patients. Our dentists will be able to advise the most suitable options based on your concerns and desired outcomes.

Types Of Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures

Dental Implants

Implants give patients the opportunity to replace lost or missing teeth and improve both appearance and functionality. Implants can be thought of as screws that are well anchored in the jaw. These devices are made of medical grade titanium which are placed in the site of a missing tooth or teeth where they biologically fuse with the jaw bone. Usually a ceramic crown is constructed to match the existing teeth in terms of both shape and color, and is then attached to the securely anchored implant.

Dental Crowns

A custom-made crown fits over a prepared tooth and replaces the natural crown, which is part of the tooth that you can see above the gums. Dental crowns improve the appearance of ones smile and add strength, durability and stability.

Orthodontics

Orthodontists specialize in the design, application and control of corrective dental appliances, also known as braces or dental aligners, to align teeth, lips and jaws to achieve facial balance and a set of straight teeth.

Veneers

Veneers involve a procedure in which tooth colored porcelain or composite resin are bonded to the front of one or more teeth. Veneers are more conservative than dental caps, also known as crowns, and can be a good option for patients with any of the following concerns:

  • Gaps or spaces between teeth
  • Stained or discolored teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Slightly crowded teeth
  • Crooked or oddly shaped teeth

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dentistry procedure which can lighten the colour of teeth. This procedure is safe when carried out by a dentist and is usually carried out after teeth have been cleaned, also known as scale and polish.
